* SDSU is a perfect 3-0 on the road this season and its four-game road-winning streak is tied for the 11th longest in the nation.
* Since Oct. 10, 2015, no team in the country has as many road victories as San Diego State (12). Clemson, Oklahoma and Western Michigan each have 11.
* The Aztecs are looking for their seventh win of the season. SDSU has won seven or more games in a Division I era school-record seven consecutive seasons.
* San Diego State head coach Rocky Long is one win shy of tying Claude Gilbert for second place on the school's all-time victory list. The top three: Don Coryell (1961-72) 104, Claude Gilbert (1973-80) 61, Rocky Long (2011-present) 60.
* SDSU has won its last three visits to Aloha Stadium. San Diego State defeated Hawai'i in 2013 (28-21 in overtime) and 2015 (28-14), and defeated Cincinnati (42-7) in the 2015 Hawai'i Bowl.
* Rocky Long is a perfect 6-0 against Hawai'i in his coaching career.
* The Aztecs have handed Hawai'i two of its last 13 defeats at Aloha Stadium and four of its last 32 losses overall.
* SDSU, which has forced the second-most turnovers in the country since the beginning of the 2015 season (75), has not forced a turnover in its last three games. That is the first time that has occurred in the school's Division I history (since 1969) (573 games).
* San Diego State has held nine of its last 10 opponents to 375 yards or less of total offense. Since the beginning of the 2015 campaign, opponents are averaging 305.2 yards of total offense (6th nationally).
* Since 2015, the Aztecs are 26-2 when allowing less than 375 yards of total offense.
* Senior running back/kickoff return Rashaad Penny is third nationally in rushing yards per game (139.4) and all-purpose yards per game (191.25), and is fourth in total touchdowns (13). He has rushed for at least 128 yards in each of his last four road games.
* In his last six road games, Penny has rushed for 918 yards (153.0 ypg), 10 rushing TDs (13 total) and averaging 9.6 ypc.
* Junior quarterback Christian Chapman has not thrown an interception since the final play (a Hail Mary) of the first half of the 2017 opener against UC Davis. He now has 157 pass attempts without an interception, the second-longest active streak nationally (Ryan Finley (North Carolina State) 313) and is 21 short of tying the Division I era school record (Dan McGwire, 178).
