Aztec fans can take part in a number of Homecoming festivities ahead of San Diego State football's game against Fresno State on Sat., Oct. 21. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.

Wells Fargo Aztec Village is open from 5-7 p.m. in Lots C1/D1 of the SDCCU Stadium parking lot. Entrance to the village is free to the public and there will be food and beverage options for purchase, a D.J., and San Diego State's men's basketball team on site signing autographs from 6-7 p.m. Aztec Village will also feature a Kids Zone with carnival rides, inflatable games, and select Star Wars characters.
Inside Aztec Village, the Great Alumni Tailgate is occurring from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. SDSU alumni and their guests can enjoy hosted food and beverages for a fee. For more information and to order tickets, visit: www.sdsualumni.org/tailgate. Tickets are also available for purchase at the door.
Leading the Aztecs in the Warrior Walk at 5:15 p.m. between Lots E and F is Jimmy Raye III. Raye III, who played for the Aztecs from 1988-90, is tied for 21st all-time in receptions at SDSU and had four career 100-yard games, including one 200-yard game. After graduating from SDSU, Raye III played in two games with the Los Angeles Rams in 1991 and then moved to the front office. He has served as the Director of Player Personnel for the San Diego Chargers, Vice President of Football Operations for the Indianapolis Colts and is currently the Vice President of Football Operations/Assistant General Manager for the Houston Texans.
Upon entrance through SDCCU Stadium's Gate J, the first 2,000 SDSU students will receive a special Homecoming rally towel.
Aztecs Rock Hunger will also be collecting cash donations at all gates.
The back-to-back Mountain West champion Aztecs will look to get back on the winning track after falling for the first time last Saturday night by a 31-14 score to Boise State. SDSU, which started 6-0 for the first time since 1975, plays host to Fresno State at 7:30 p.m. PT Saturday at SDCCU Stadium. The Aztecs enter the game with a 6-1 record and 2-1 mark in MW play, while the Bulldogs are 4-2 and 3-0.
Tickets are still available for the game against the Bulldogs, but fans are encouraged to purchase tickets early for better seat location. Individual tickets may be purchased online at GoAztecs.com or over the phone at (619) 283-7378. The Aztec Ticket Office, located at SDCCU Stadium Window E, is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. PT until 5 p.m. PT. On Saturday, the ticket office will open at 2:30 p.m. PT.
Current San Diego State students can obtain one free ticket with a valid SDSU RedID (card must be swipe valid). Tickets can be retrieved at the Viejas Arena Box Office Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Friday from 10 a.m. PT to 4:30 p.m. PT, or at the Conrad Prebys Student Union Information Booth. Students can also pick up their ticket on game day at SDCCU Stadium Windows B, F and H.
