* SDSU is nationally ranked for the third consecutive week (19 in the AP and 21 in the coaches poll). This marks the longest consecutive stretch in the AP poll for the Aztecs since being ranked the final three weeks of the 1977 season and the No. 19 ranking matches the highest for the program since Jan. 3, 1978.

* San Diego State is ranked in the AP Top 25 for the 21st time in its Division I era (since 1969). Seven of those top-25 appearances have occurred since Sept. 18, 2016.

* SDSU is one of 17 undefeated teams this season. Only 10 of those teams (including the Aztecs) have played at least two road games.

* Only five teams in the nation are undefeated, have defeated an AP Top 25 team at game time and have at least two road wins this season (San Diego State, Clemson, Georgia, Oklahoma and TCU).

* The Aztecs have won seven straight games (fifth-longest active streak in FBS), and are 13-2 in their last 15 games and 26-3 in their last 29 contests.

* SDSU has won 11 straight games played against teams from the Pacific Time Zone. That is the third-longest active streak nationally, trailing only TCU (21) and LSU (13).

* San Diego State is 19-2 in its last 21 games against Mountain West opponents.

* The Aztecs have won 11 consecutive games against MW West Division opponents (dates back to Nov. 1, 2014).*

* Since Oct. 10, 2015, San Diego State has won 11 road games. That is tied with Clemson for the most in the nation and is one ahead of Oklahoma (10).

* The Aztecs have won three straight road games, six of their last seven (6-1) and 11 of their last 13 (11-2) road contests.

* San Diego State is 8-1 in its last nine road games against Mountain West competition.

* Senior running back/kickoff returner Rashaad Penny is tied for first in FBS play in touchdowns (10), second in rushing yards per game (164.6) and all-purpose yards per game (229.0), and tied for 10th in rushing touchdowns (7).

* Penny, who is second nationally with five consecutive 100-yard rushing games, is the first Aztec to open a season with five straight 100-yard efforts since Marshall Faulk (1992).
