No. 19/21 San Diego State football will treat its fans to a number of activities for its game against Northern Illinois on Sat., Sept. 30. Kickoff against the Huskies is set for 7:30 p.m.

Saturday is the Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration game. Thanks to a collaboration with the San Diego County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, fans were entitled to a discounted ticket.
The Northern Illinois game will also honor members of the United States Navy. During the game, members of the Navy will be recognized. Additionally, San Diego Padres season ticket holders are entitled to a special ticket promotion for the game and can enjoy a tailgate in Lot C2.
Aztec Village will be open from 5-7 p.m. in Lots C1/D1 of the SDCCU Stadium parking lot for those arriving early. Entrance to the village is free to the public and there will be food and beverage options for purchase, a Kids Zone with carnival rides, opportunity to take photos with selected Disney princesses, inflatable games, and a DJ. The men's golf, volleyball and water polo teams will also be signing autographs.
Inside Aztec Village from 5-7 p.m., fans ages 21 and up can enjoy the Aztec Village Beer Festival. Karl Strauss Brewing Company, Hess Brewing, Aztec Brewing, Green Flash Brewing and more breweries will be on hand. Admission to the beer fest is $10 and includes a San Diego State souvenir 4 oz. cup and five taster tokens. All proceeds benefit the Aztec Club in support of SDSU student-athlete scholarships. The first 2,000 SDSU students through Gate J will receive a complementary pair of earbuds.
High school bands in the San Diego area will be celebrated at the game, as well. Over 1,600 high school band members from 22 high schools will join the Aztec Marching Band on the field at halftime.
In conjunction with the College Football Playoff Foundation's Extra Yard for Teachers program, the Aztecs will be wearing Extra Yard helmet decals and the San Diego County Teachers of the Year will be honored during the game.
Ranked 19th in the latest Associated Press Top 25 Poll and 21st in the Amway Coaches Poll, the Aztecs play host to Northern Illinois (2-1) at 7:30 p.m. PT Saturday in their final non-conference game of the season.
Tickets are still available for the game against the Huskies, but fans are encouraged to purchase tickets early for better seat location. Individual tickets may be purchased online at GoAztecs.com or over the phone at (619) 283-7378.
The Aztec Ticket Office, located at SDCCU Stadium Window E, is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. PT until 5 p.m. PT. On Saturday, the ticket office will open at 2:30 p.m. PT.
Current San Diego State students can obtain one free ticket with a valid SDSU RedID (card must be swipe valid). Tickets can be retrieved at the Viejas Arena Box Office Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. PT to 5:30 p.m. PT and Friday from 10 a.m. PT to 4:30 p.m. PT, or at the Conrad Prebys Student Union Information Booth. Students can also pick up their ticket on game day at SDCCU Stadium Windows B, F and H.
