SDSU has 201 points, ahead of Utah (194), Oregon (158) and LSU (153) in the Top 25. No. 20 Florida (308) and South Florida (272) are just ahead of San Diego State. The Aztecs had 16 points in last week's poll.

SDSU is also ranked 25th in the Amway Coaches Poll with 141 points (up from 19 points a week ago), 64 points behind No. 24 Oregon (208).

San Diego State is 3-0 for the second straight season and for just the third time over the last 36 years. The Aztecs are one of only two teams (Clemson) to have at least one win over a Top 25 team this season, two victories over Power 5 programs and at least one road win at a Power 5 school.

SDSU is coming off a 20-17 win over then No. 19/19 Stanford Saturday night. It was the third straight win for San Diego State over a Power 5 school as the Aztecs stopped the nine-game non-conference winning streak by the Cardinal. SDSU outgained Stanford, 358-238, and limited the Cardinal to just 18:46 of time of possession, its fewest in a game since at least 1996.

San Diego State, which is 24-3 in its last 27 games, also has wins this year against UC Davis (38-17) and at Arizona State (30-20).

Winners of back-to-back Mountain West championships, the Aztecs open league play at 5 p.m. MT (4 p.m. PT) Saturday at Air Force.
