SAN DIEGO -

Future Schedules

San Diego State and Oregon State have agreed to a home-and-home series in football, starting in 2023, the two schools announced today. The Aztecs and Beavers will play Sept. 16, 2023 in Corvallis and Sept. 19, 2026 in San Diego.

SDSU now has multiple home-and-home contests with Pac-12 teams in each of the next two seasons (2017-18), as well as 2021-23 and in 2026. San Diego State, which already had home-and-home games with Oregon State in 2013-14 and California in 2015-16, has at least one Pac-12 team on its schedule in each of the next 12 campaigns, all home-and-home series. The Aztecs are scheduled to play a series with Arizona State (2017 in Tempe, 2018 in San Diego), a home-and-home with Stanford (2017 in San Diego, 2018 in Stanford), a series with UCLA (2019 in Los Angeles, 2020 in San Diego), a home-and-home with Arizona (2021 in Tucson, 2022 in San Diego), a series with Utah (2021 in San Diego, 2022 in Salt Lake City), another with UCLA (2023 in San Diego, 2026 in Los Angeles), one with the Beavers (2023 in Corvallis, 2026 in San Diego), one with Washington State (2024 in San Diego, 2025 in Pullman) and a second with ASU (2027 in Tempe, 2028 in San Diego).

SDSU is also slated for home-and-home non-conference series with Eastern Michigan (2018 in San Diego, 2019 in Ypsilanti) and Brigham Young (2019 in San Diego, 2020 in Provo, Utah).

San Diego State is 2-3 all-time against OSU, including three straight losses in the series. Oregon State won the last meeting by a 28-7 score in Corvallis in 2014.

The Beavers were 4-8 last year, including a 3-6 mark in Pac-12 play, which tied for fourth with California in the Pac-12 North Division.

SDSU is coming off an 11-3 season, knocking off Wyoming, 27-24, in the MW Championship game and Houston, 34-10, in the Las Vegas Bowl, to finish with a No. 25 ranking in both the AP Top 25 poll and the Amway Coaches Poll. It was just the second time that San Diego State has been ranked in the final AP poll in program history (also 1977). The 11 wins tied a school single-season record as the Aztecs became the first team in program history with back-to-back 11-win campaigns.

2017 Aztec football season tickets and mini plans are now on sale. Season tickets start at $125, while mini plans start at $90. Fans can purchase tickets at GoAztecs.com, over the phone by calling (619) 283-7378, or by visiting Qualcomm Stadium's Window E Monday-Friday between 9 a.m. PT and 5 p.m. PT.
