San Diego State and Fresno State will wrap up the regular season this afternoon when the Bulldogs visit Tony Gwynn Stadium for a game slated to get underway at 1:00 p.m. PT.

After last night's 13-3 win over the FSU, it all comes down to today's contest for the Aztecs. A win today would give SDSU the regular-season Mountain West title and the right to host next weekend's conference tournament.

An Aztec loss and New Mexico win would give first place to the Lobos, who would host the tourney in Albuquerque. If both SDSU and UNM lose, the Aztecs would finish on top and have hosting duties next week.

Fresno State comes into today's contest with a record of 30-23 overall and 17-12 in league play. The Bulldogs will finish third in the final standings no matter today's outcome and have the number-three tournament seed.

FSU's starting pitcher for today's game in TBA.

San Diego State (38-17, 20-9 MW) is expected to start senior right-hander Cody Thompson this afternoon.

Last night's victory was significant in that it was the 100th win for SDSU Head Coach Mark Martinez. He becomes the first Aztec head coach to record 100 wins in his first three years at the helm of the program.

This afternoon's contest has been designated Senior Day with the Aztecs set to honor eight players who are wrapping up their collegiate careers this season.

That group includes Andrew Brown, Andrew Martinez, Marcus Reyes, Dominic Purpura, CJ Saylor, Brett Seeburger, Danny Sheehan and Cody Thompson.

Senior Day ceremonies will commence at 12:50 p.m.
