LOGAN, Utah - San Diego State softball’s series opener at Utah State scheduled for 4 p.m. MT (3 p.m. PT) Friday has been postponed due to inclement weather and unplayable field conditions.
The Aztecs (25-15, 9-6 MW) and Aggies (30-11, 12-5 MW) will now play two games on Saturday, the first at 1 p.m. MT (noon PT) and the second at 4 p.m. MT (3 p.m. PT). Sunday’s noon MT (11 a.m. PT) game will go on as scheduled.
SDSU entered the weekend in a tie for second place in the Mountain West standings with San José State at 9-6, while the Aggies held a three-game lead on both teams at 12-5.
