SAN DIEGO - San Diego State will play its fourth game in four days when it hosts San Francisco in a contest slated to start at 2:00 p.m. at Tony Gwynn Stadium.

The Dons enter the day with a record of 14-14 overall and 2-7 in the West Coast Conference. They are coming off a three-game weekend sweep at the hands of the University of San Diego.

USF is expected to start LHP Sam Granoff (1-2, 4.82) on the mound today where he will be opposed by SDSU right-hander Harrison Pyatt (1-2, 10.03).

Although Alan Trejo's 18-game hitting streak came to an end in the series finale vs. San Jose State on Sunday, there was good news for the junior from Downey, Calif. Trejo tossed the final two innings of the 5-1 win over the Spartans and in the process picked up his first career save.

Shortstop Danny Sheehan, meanwhile, was able to extend his current hitting streak to 13 games with a single in the opening inning of yesterday's contest.

Junior left-hander Jacob Erickson recorded the victory in relief vs. SJSU on Sunday to improve to 4-1 on the year while lowering his earned run average to 1.40. He along with fellow lefties Brett Seeburger (5-1) and Dominic Purpura (5-0) have been credited with 14 of the team's 19 wins in 2017.

San Diego State will wrap up a string of five games in five days on Tuesday, April 4, when it travels to Lake Elsinore to take on UCLA in a contest scheduled to get underway at 6:00 p.m. PT. That game will be played at The Diamond, the home of the Class-A Lake Elsinore Storm.
