Due to unanticipated delays in resurfacing the discus, javelin and steeplechase water barrier areas of Aztrack Choc Sportsman Oval on the SDSU Sports Deck, the schedule and events for the 39th Annual Aztec Track and Field Open Meet and Invitational Meet has been amended.
The Open Meet combined events (heptathlon and decathlon) as well as the men and women Open Meet and Invitational Meet 3000m steeplechase events have been cancelled.
All Open and Invitational Meet throwing events have been moved to the UC San Diego campus in La Jolla, Calif. The men and women Invitational Meet hammer throw now will be competed on the Saturday, March 25th. All events in the high school meet, including the shot put, will be held at San Diego State.
