COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - San Diego State volleyball players Baylee Little and Deja Harris will be in Colorado Springs , Colo., this weekend attending open tryouts being conducted by USA Volleyball. At stake are spots on the U.S. Women's National Team, U.S. Collegiate National Team and U.S. Women's Junior National Team with 245 athletes from 84 colleges and 10 high schools participating.
Little is a senior opposite side hitter from Gilbert, Ariz. (Highland HS). She redshirted for the Aztecs during the 2016 season, but was named to the all-Mountain West team as a junior in 2015 when she averaged 2.27 kills and 0.54 blocks per set.
Harris, a 6-2 middle blocker from Las Vegas, Nev. (Calvary Chapel HS), completed her second season at San Diego State last fall. She is a two-time all-Mountain West selection who led the Aztecs in blocking and ranked seventh in the conference in that category in 2016.
