SAN DIEGO - The San Diego State women's tennis team is set to face the University of San Diego this Wednesday, March 1, at the Skip and Cindy Hogan Tennis Center at USD. First serve is set for 1:30 p.m.
Like the Aztecs, the Toreros faced No. 30 Arizona State last weekend, falling in a 4-0 decision. Wednesday's matchup against SDSU is the first of two home contests this week for the 2-5 Toreros, as they will also play Brown University on Saturday before the Bears visit the Aztecs Sunday afternoon.
The Aztecs, 4-7, are now halfway through the regular season with 11 duals left on the schedule, four of which are against conference opponents. The team enters Wednesday's match with both a win and a loss from last week's home contests against Eastern Michigan (W, 7-0) and No. 30 ASU (L, 6-0).
Next up, SDSU will host two at home this weekend. The Aztecs will welcome Hawai'i for a noon match on Saturday, March 4, followed by Brown on Sunday, March 5, at 1 p.m.
