FORT COLLINS, Colo. -

SDSU Coach Steve Fisher

(on if this game was basically the story of season)
"It terms of the result, it is tough. We fought like crazy. We did enough things that we should have went into the locker room and made so much noise that they would be able to hear us in San Diego. Some of the things that cost us are the same, offensive rebounding for them, which had to lead to at least 30 points. Turnovers, we have got to protect the ball. Even though we only had 10, they (Colorado State) don't force turnovers. They had five in the last game. We had some that you can't have. You have to do your job, right till the end and then go get the ball. We had a mix up at the end on the end line, out of bounds. All of the sudden D'Erryl (Williams) is on him (Omogbo). Now you have got to close out on him. You have got to be able to drive him because you're going to be like sweat coming off of your body. We weren't quite there and he made a huge basket to allow them to do what they are doing now."

(on if there was a collapse of the last play)
"We had a mix up in terms of what we did on the end line out of bounds. We had to do one of two things, we both lock and switch everything, or we take our man, stay with him and don't switch anything. We were not in lock. All of the sudden one guy breaks free, they knock the ball lose, and it goes out where D'erryl had to do what he had to do. He had to go out and guard him."

(on the impact of Trey Kell fouling out)
"When he picks up his fourth foul when he did, the way he did, it's hurtful. He played so well in the first half. He never got into a rhythm after he got four fouls and came to the bench. When he came back into the game, he had some good looks. The first half they were going in and they weren't quite able to go in after that. It was hurtful not to have him out there."

(on if the last play for Dakarai Allen was a set play)
"It could not of worked out better. We did a great job of screening out Max (Hoetzel) and he (Allen) got the ball right where we wanted him to get it, which he made the right read play and made the shot. We wanted him to be the center of attention in a positive way. He did what Dakarai has done for us every year. He has been steady. He has been tough. He has delivered."

(on if this game changes anything for the team in the grand scheme of things)
"To be able to go on the road, against the hottest team in the league, and win a game in their building is a memory that you want. You want to be able to carry that with you, not just through the next two games, but to have that "Remember when…Remember when we came in here took out a team that had won 8 out of 9." We aren't going to be able to do that. We are going to remember all the things that happened that allowed us not to win."
