SAN DIEGO - The San Diego State women's tennis team finishes off a three-match home stretch this Saturday as it takes on No. 30 Arizona State. Play is set to begin at noon at the Aztec Tennis Center.

The No. 30 Sun Devils, 3-1, travel to San Diego coming off a 7-0 win at home last Friday, Feb. 17, against Nevada. ASU’s sole loss of the season comes from a 13th-ranked Texas Tech, 4-3, at ITA kick-off weekend. Based on the latest Oracle/ITA Rankings, the Sun Devils boast two nationally ranked players, No. 72 Sammi Hampton and No. 79 Kassidy Jump, as well as a 36th-ranked doubles pairing in Nicole Fossa Huergo and Alexandra Osbourne.

Currently at 4-6 on the season, SDSU is fresh off a 7-0 victory against Eastern Michigan where the Aztecs exhibited strong play from top to bottom. Following Saturday’s contest, the Aztecs will have hit the halfway mark for the regular season.

Last season, the Aztecs traveled to Tempe where the 19th-ranked Sun Devils shut them out, 7-0.

Coming up, SDSU will visit cross-town foe University of San Diego on its home court on Wednesday, March 1. First serve is set for 1:30 p.m. at the Barnes Tennis Center.
