The San Diego State baseball coaching staff has announced that a limited number of spots are available for the Aztec Select 30 Pitching and Catching Camp to be conducted Dec. 28-29 at Tony Gwynn Stadium on the SDSU campus. The camp is open to any and all players who will graduate high school from 2017 through 2020.
The camp will be administered by members of the San Diego State coaching staff with instructional assistance from local coaches and players. The camp session on Wednesday, Dec. 28, will run from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with Thursday's (Dec, 29) camp from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. The camp fee is $400.
This camp is limited to 30 players to ensure that each players gets undivided attention from our elite coaching staff. This camp is designed to teach young pitchers and catchers not only how to take their game to the next level but to excel at the next level.
Pitchers will learn the advanced ways to increase their velocity and command, as well as keeping their arm healthy, field their position, and get ahead of the game with mental coaching. Catchers will learn the intricacies that come with the position and how to get better at every facet of the game.
Each camper will get individual instruction, video analysis, academic advice and a once-in-a-lifetime experience of training as a Division I student-athlete. In addition to receiving a video breakdown of a bullpen session, campers will also receive SDSU Nike Dri-Fit shirt and shorts.
