SAN DIEGO - San Diego State women's soccer's Victoria Barba and Stacie Moran were named to the NSCAA all-Pacific Region Team on Friday. Barba was voted to the second team, while Moran was selected to the third team.

Barba, who just completed her senior season, led the Aztecs with 11 goals and 25 points, while adding three assists. The Albuquerque, New Mexico native caught fire at the end of the season totaling 10 goals in her final seven games and scored a league-record six times in three Mountain West Championship games. In the conference title game, the midfielder netted the third hat trick in Championship history and the ninth in school history. The honor is the second of Barba's career after earning third-team accolades in 2013.

As for Moran, the junior defender helped the Aztecs record eight shutouts and limit 14 of SDSU's final 17 opponents to one goal or less. In those 17 games, San Diego State posted a 10-3-4 record. Individually, the Alta Loma native attempted 13 shots with three coming on net. The all-region award is the first of Moran's career.

The two all-region honorees represent the program's first since 2013, when San Diego State had four Aztecs recognized.

The duo helped the Aztecs finish 2016 with a 10-7-4 record and to the title game of the Mountain West Championship. The 10-win season was SDSU's sixth straight and 2017 will provide the program the opportunity to match the school-record streak of seven.
