FRESNO, Calif. – The San Diego State volleyball team concludes its latest Mountain West road trip with a match against Fresno State this afternoon at 1:00 p.m. (PT) at FSU's Save Mart Center.
The Bulldogs enter the day with as record of 12-12 overall and 5-6 in conference play. FSU is looking to put a stop to a four-match losing streak that includes a three-set loss to Nevada at home on Thursday.
San Diego State's record, meanwhile, stands at 14-12 and the Aztecs are 6-6 in Mountain West action. SDSU has lost its last two outings and will be attempting to avoid its first three-match losing streak of the 2016 campaign.
Sophomore Alexandra Psoma continues to lead the Aztec offense with an average of 3.23 kills per set in all contests. The outside hitter from Greece is even better in conference play with a mark of 3.46 kills per set.
Fellow soph Deja Harris is SDSU's leading blocker at 0.98 per set and her .356 hitting percentage ranks among the top 10 in the conference this week.
In addition, senior Danielle Bolden added three service aces to her season total during the match at San Jose State on Thursday and her average of 0.52 per set in Mountain West action leads the league.
Following this afternoon's contest, the Aztecs will return home to prepare for their final three-match home stand of the season which gets underway with a contest against Colorado State on Thursday, Nov. 10, at 6:00 p.m. on Aztec Court.
