San Diego State students, alumni and fans will enjoy an action-packed Homecoming game vs. Hawai'i on Sat., Nov. 5. Kickoff is set for 4 p.m. on CBS Sports Network.

During the game, the 1966 Aztecs will be honored for their 50th reunion. The Wire Service College Division Champions, the team finished with an 11-0 record and a 5-0 mark in the California Collegiate Athletic Association. Coached by Don Coryell with assistance from John Madden and Joe Gibbs, SDSU won the 1966 Camellia Bowl in Sacramento by a 28-7 margin over Montana State.

The Aztec Varsity Club hosts its third annual tailgate, beginning at 1:30 p.m. in the Wells Fargo Aztec Village (Parking Lot C-1/D-1). All former student-athletes, equipment managers and athletic trainers are invited to the tailgate, which includes food from Nicolosi's, beer from Aztec Brewing and wine from KnB Cellars. The inaugural Great Alumni Tailgate will also take place prior to kickoff. From 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the Wells Fargo Aztec Village, SDSU alumni are invited to a tailgate which includes hosted food and beverages for a nominal fee. For more information, visit: sdsualumni.org/tailgate.

Additionally, the first 2,000 San Diego State students through Gate J will receive a complimentary Aztec beach towel.

Winners of four consecutive games, 15 straight against conference opponents and 17 of its last 18 contests, San Diego State (7-1, 4-0 MW) plays host to Hawai`i (4-5, 3-2 MW) at 4 p.m. PT Saturday.
