The Great Give, San Diego State University's first day of giving, is set for Tuesday, Oct. 25. Fans can show their passion for the Aztecs over a 24-hour period, which will help ensure greatness at SDSU for years to come.
The event is intended to engage SDSU alumni and friends through philanthropic support benefiting students, faculty, research, and campus programs. San Diego State Athletics will participate in The Great Give through two projects.
Those who are interested in participating can choose between a pair of funds, the Football Excellence Fund and the Student-Athlete Scholarship Fund.
A gift to the Football Excellence Fund will help the Aztecs build off last season's Mountain West championship and Hawaii Bowl victory. The Student-Athlete Scholarship Fund, meanwhile, will help provide the necessary resources to help SDSU student-athletes graduate and win championships.
Gifts of any amount will be accepted online at sdsugreatgive.org throughout the 24-period or by phone at 619-594-2586 between the hours of 8 a.m. and 9 p.m. PT.
