San Diego State-New Hampshire Postgame Notes
SAN DIEGO - Postgame notes following San Diego State's 31-0 victory over New Hampshire Saturday at Qualcomm Stadium.
Big Notes
• The Aztecs shut out an opponent for the first time since Nicholls State on Sept. 4, 2010 (W, 47-0).
• San Diego State won its 11th consecutive game. It is the Aztecs' longest win streak since a 21-game winning streak from 1968-70 and is the second-longest active winning streak in FBS (Alabama, 13).
• Ten of the 11 Aztec wins during the streak have come by at least 14 points.
• SDSU hasn't lost a game since Sept. 26, 2015 at Penn State, a period of 343 days.
• During San Diego State's 11-game winning streak, it has outscored the opposition, 389-121. That is an average of 35.4 to 11.0.
• The Aztecs won their sixth straight home game, outscoring its opponents, 196-62 (32.7-10.3).
• San Diego State held New Hampshire to just 141 yards of total offense, the ninth fewest in a game in DI history.
• SDSU did not allow a third-down conversion on 14 attempts, which were the third-most attempts in the nation without a conversion since 2011.
• Mikah Holder finished with 160 receiving yards, tied for the 74th most in a game in school history.
• SDSU's Christian Chapman completed an 86-yard touchdown pass to Mikah Holder in the first quarter, tied for the seventh-longest pass play in school history and longest since Ryan Lindley had a 90-yard pass to Vincent Brown on Nov. 20, 2010 vs. Utah.
Season-Opener Notes
• The Aztecs won their third consecutive season opener. It is the first time that SDSU has won three straight lidlifters since winning five in a row from 1993-97.
• SDSU is now 49-40-5 in season-opening games, including a 24-23-1 mark in the Division I era (since 1969). San Diego State is 4-2 in season openers under Rocky Long.
• The Aztecs improved to 21-7-1 in the Division I era when their opener is at home.
Team Notes
• San Diego State held its opponent below 400 yards of total offense for the 12th straight game, which is the second-longest active FBS streak in the nation (Wisconsin at 13, including today's game vs. LSU).
• The Aztecs did not throw an interception for the 13th straight game, extending the program's longest streak in its Division I history (since 1969).
• SDSU improved to 19-2 since 2003 when leading by 14-plus points in the first quarter.
• San Diego State has now shut out its opponent in the first quarter in 10 of its last 15 games.
• SDSU shut out its opponent in the first half for the fourth time in the last six games.
• The Aztecs outscored New Hampshire, 21-0, in the first half and has now outscored the opposition, 217-52 in the first half over its 11-game winning streak.

• SDSU improved to 26-3 over its last 29 games when recording at least two rushing touchdowns.

• The Aztecs improved to 43-11 in the Rocky Long era when scoring just 20 or more points.
• SDSU has now gone 251 passes without throwing an interception, extending the longest active streak in the country.
Trends
• SDSU started with the ball for the 52nd time over the last 56 games.
• San Diego State lost the toss for just the seventh time over the last 25 games.
• The Aztecs have now gone 118 games without suffering a shutout (Nov. 18, 2006 at TCU), which is the third-longest streak among current Mountain West schools (Air Force at 284 and Boise State at 238). That is the only time SDSU has been shut out in their last 210 games.
• The Aztecs held an opponent scoreless on their opening drive for the 11th time over the last 12 games.
• San Diego State improved to 32-11 in the Rocky Long era when scoring first.
• The Aztecs improved to 30-7 in the Rocky Long era when leading after the first quarter.
• SDSU improved to 28-7 in the Rocky Long era when leading at the half.

• Had a career-long 86-yard reception, tied for the seventh longest in school history and the longest since Vincent Brown caught a 90-yarder on Nov. 20, 2010 vs. Utah.
• The two touchdowns were the seventh and eighth of his career.

• Rushed 21 times for 98 yards (4.7 avg.), while adding four catches for 41 yards.
• Scored his 46th rushing touchdown of the season and 51st overall touchdown of his career.
• SDSU improved to 22-7 when he scores at least one rushing touchdown.
• Moved from 74th in NCAA history to 64th, passing the likes of Bo Jackson (4,303). He now has 4,370 career rushing yards.

• Rushed nine times for 33 yards (3.7 avg.)
• Recorded his fifth career rushing touchdown and ninth overall touchdown.

• Set a career high with four pass breakups, eclipsing his previous best of two at North Carolina in 2014.

• CB Damontae Kazee, LB Calvin Munson, RB Donnel Pumphrey, LG Nico Siragusa and WAR Malik Smith each started for the 28th straight game, the longest streaks on the team (does not include specialists).
• RT Daniel Brunskill, RB Donnel Pumphrey and LG Nico Siragusa each played in their 41st consecutive game, the longest streak on the team.
• Five Aztecs made their first career start today on offense and defense, including CB Derek Babiash, LB Ronley Lakalaka, RG Antonio Rosales, FB Dakota Turner and TE David Wells. PK/KO John Baron II and LS Turner Bernard also started at special teams. Daniel Brunskill made his first career start at right tackle, having started 18 times prior at tight end.
