SAN DIEGO -- The third season of Aztec Football with Rocky Long will debut on Thurs., Aug. 25 at 9 p.m. PT on Fox Sports San Diego. The weekly show is highlighted by player and coach features, behind the scenes footage, X's and O's with Long, previews of upcoming games, recaps of past games and much more.
The first episode will feature NFL Hall of Fame inductee and Aztec alum Marshall Faulk alongside senior running back Donnel Pumphrey. The pair previews the upcoming season for SDSU and discusses their respective careers. Pumphrey currently has the second most rushing yards in school history (4,272), trailing only Faulk (4,589 from 1991-92).
Additionally, the show meets with other Aztecs to discuss their excitement about the 2016 campaign.
The Aztecs swept the preseason awards and captured all 29 first-place votes en route to being picked to win the West Division of the Mountain West in the 2016 preseason poll released last month. SDSU became just the second unanimous preseason pick in MW history (TCU in 2010) and is the only FBS team to receive all of the possible first-place votes in a divisional or league poll.

Fans who purchase a season ticket will receive a free Donnel Pumphrey bobblehead.
The Aztecs kick off the 2016 season at Qualcomm Stadium against New Hampshire on Sept. 3 at 5:30 p.m. PT.
