LIVE RESULTS

Current San Diego State sophomore Ashley Henderson and former athlete Allison Reaser each competed at the U.S. Olympic Trials Saturday in Eugene, Ore. Henderson ran in a semifinal heat of the 200-meter dash, while Reaser finished the first day of the heptathlon.

Henderson, the 2016 NCAA runner-up in the 100-meter dash, ran a time of 23.31 seconds today in the first semifinal heat of the 200. Her time (into a 1.7 m/s headwind) was the sixth fastest in her heat and 20th overall. Henderson, however, was unable to advance to Sunday's final as only the top two in each of the three heats plus the next two-fastest times moved on (eight total).

Reaser, who came in 15th in the heptathlon at the last Olympic Trials in 2012, is in 14th after four of the seven events today with 3,444 points. Reaser began the competition with the 12th-fastest time in the 100-meter hurdles in 13.69 for 1,023 points. Next up was the high jump, where she cleared 5 feet, 6 ½ inches (1.69m) to take 15th for 842 points. In the shot put, Reaser finished with a best throw of 38-00.25 (11.59m), the 19th-best mark of the competition, good enough for 634 additional points. The 200 wrapped up the first day for Reaser as her time of 24.38 was the seventh fastest of the day, awarding her 945 points. The final three events of the heptathlon - long jump, javelin throw and 800 - start at 1:45 p.m. PT Sunday.

Kristen Brown, a seven-time Mountain West track and field champion while with the Aztecs, will look to secure a bid to the 2016 Rio Olympics in the pole vault when she competes in the final at 2:30 p.m. PT Sunday. Brown, who entered the Trials with the fifth-best mark (tied), tied for 11th in the qualifying rounds on Friday. She'll have to finish among the top three to qualify for Rio and join former Aztecs Whitney Ashley (discus throw) and Shanieka Thomas (triple jump).
