SAN DIEGO - The San Diego State women's basketball program has announced that registration is now open for three camps it will conduct later this summer on the SDSU campus. The Aztec camps are available for all skill levels and will be held inside the sparkling new Jeff Jacobs JAM Center.
The SDSU Kids Camp will run Monday, June 20 to Thursday, June 23 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. It is open to all girls from ages 9-18. This camp will focus on individual work, fundamentals and learning to play as a team, utilizing the same drills that the Aztecs use. The camp cost is $275.
In addition, SDSU will hold an Elite Camp open for all girls entering high school or already enrolled in high school. The Elite Camp will take place on Friday, June 24 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and will offer advanced teaching, as well as simulate a real Aztec practice. This is an exciting camp for those players who want to improve their skills and work on concepts to take their game to the next level. The cost of the Elite Camp is $75.
San Diego State's summer camp schedule will conclude with the Girls High School Team Camp that will run on Saturday, August 6 and Sunday, August 7. Teams will be guaranteed three games each day and each squad may attend one or both days. Games will feature four 10-minute running quarters with clock stoppage in the last two minutes of each contest.
