SAN DIEGO - The San Diego State women's lacrosse team will host its annual Elite Camp on Aztec Lacrosse Field June 27-30.

The Elite Camp is open to any and all female players ages 13-18, with both overnight and commuter options available. It includes an advanced skills program that focuses on position play, team concepts and an overall intense level of competition. Campers will also have the opportunity to compete in games against each other.

All camps, located on the newly renovated Aztec Lacrosse Field, are directed and organized by Aztec head coach Kylee White. She will be joined in instruction by other collegiate coaches and student-athletes, providing an 8:1 camper-to-instructor on-field ratio.

During all sessions, goalies will receive training aimed to develop individual techniques as well as instructions in game-like situations. Each goalie will also participate in shooting drills along with drills designed to include goalies as an integral part of team defense.

Each camper will receive a reversible mash Nike practice jersey, and will have the opportunity to win Nike and STX prizes for outstanding play, sportsmanship and improvement. The campers will also receive lunch and dinner and can participate in a bonfire and talent show. Overnight campers will additionally be provided breakfast and lodging for three nights.

Registration fee for the Elite Camp is $625 for overnight members and $525 for commuters. For more information or to register, visit: http://www.ussportscamps.com/lacrosse/nike/san-diego-state-university-lacrosse-camp/.

San Diego State recorded a 4-11 mark this season, going 3-6 in conference play. The Aztecs executed their most difficult schedule to date, facing four opponents ranked among the top 12 in the nation (No. 2/2 North Carolina, No. 11/10 Stony Brook, No. 7/8 USC, No. 12/8 Stanford), and allowed the second fewest goals in program history (190).
