Complete Release and Season Statistics

SAN DIEGO, Calif. - San Diego State will make the short trip north to Riverside this evening to take on the UCR Highlanders in a contest scheduled to get underway at 6:00 p.m. at the Riverside Sports Complex.

The Aztecs will be looking to avenge a 3-2 10-inning loss at the hands of UC Riverside when the teams met at Tony Gwynn Stadium in March.

UCR enters the game with a record of 21-27 overall and 8-10 in the big West after dropping two of three contests in Hawaii'i this past weekend.

The Highlanders will send freshman left-hander Devin McKesson (0-0, 14.73) to the mound this evening to make just his second start and fifth appearance of the 2016 campaign.

San Diego State, meanwhile, comes into the day with a mark of 17-34 in all games and 9-18 in Mountain West Conference play.

The Aztecs are expected to send junior right-hander Adrian Orozco (1-0, 6.30) to the hill to start tonight's game, but they expect to use a number of hurlers in preparation for this weekend's series at San Jose State.

The three games against the Spartans, which begin on Thursday, along with Air Force and New Mexico's results, will determine the Aztecs' seeding for next week's Mountain West Tournament in Albuquerque.
