SDSU Welcomes Boise State for Final Regular Season Series
The San Diego State softball team plays host to Boise State this weekend in its final regular season series of the season. The Aztecs (28-21, 10-11 MW), who have won each of their past three series, will meet the Broncos (13-36, 5-16 MW) at 6 p.m. PT Thursday, 6 p.m. PT Friday and 11 a.m. PT Saturday with the Thursday and Saturday games slated to be broadcast on the Mountain West Network.

The first 250 fans in attendance to Thursday's game will receive a phone wallet. After Saturday's contest, there will be a special ceremony honoring SDSU's four departing seniors - Stefania Aradillas (Mexico City), Samantha Camello (Temecula, Calif.), Leia Ruiz (Chino, Calif.) and Sam Vlot (Chowchilla, Calif.).

San Diego State is hitting .300 as a team with 23 home runs, 35 stolen bases and 241 runs in 49 games (4.92 runs per game). Sophomore Jenavee Peres (Garden Grove, Calif.) continues to lead the Aztecs in multiple offensive categories, despite missing 22 of the team's 49 games with injuries, including batting average (.451), on-base percentage (.535), slugging percentage (.915) and home runs (9). Sophomore Zaria Meshack (Vallejo, Calif.) is hitting .368 with 30 runs and a team-high 13 stolen bases, while Camello (.355, 30 R, 23 RBI, 13 2B), freshman Molly Sturdivant (Santa Ana, Calif.) (.312, 6 HR, 31 RBI) and junior Sydnee Cable (Huntington Beach, Calif.) (.301, 19 R, 19 RB) are also hitting over .300 for SDSU.

San Diego State has used a balanced pitching staff so far, combining for a 3.79 team ERA from freshman Julie McDonald (Carlsbad, Calif./Carlsbad HS) (2-1, 3.60 ERA, 46.2 IP), junior Erica Romero (Corona, Calif.) (13-8, 3.73 ERA, 133.1 IP), sophomore Alex Formby (Orange, Calif.) (11-10, 3.73 ERA, 107.0 IP) and junior Ashley Ercolano (Poway, Calif./Poway HS) (2-2, 4.38 ERA, 38.1 IP).
