FRESNO, Calif. - San Diego State will continue its three-game weekend series at Fresno State tonight when it faces the Bulldogs in a contest scheduled to get underway at 6:05 p.m.

After last night's 4-2 win over the Bulldogs, the Aztecs record stands at 14-30 overall and 6-14 in the Mountain West. They will be looking to continue the momentum of back-to-back victories when they take the field this evening.

SDSU currently sits in sixth place in the conference standings, two games behind Air Force. The Aztecs are looking to move up the standings to avoid the play-in game for the upcoming Mountain West Tournament.

Fresno State , meanwhile, saw its record drop to 30-17 (17-8 MW) after last night's loss. The Bulldogs are in second place in the Mountain West, two games behind New Mexico and failed to gain ground last night even though the Lobos lost at UNLV.

FSU is expected to send right-hander Jimmy Lambert (9-0, 252) to the mound tonight where he will be opposed by San Diego state left-hander Brett Seeburger (0-1, 4.65).

The Aztecs and Bulldogs will wrap up the weekend on Sunday, May 8, with a game slated to begin at 1:05 p.m. at Beiden Field.
