The San Diego State football team will play three Friday games this season on national television, the Mountain West announced today. The three Friday games will come in successive weeks from Oct. 14-28.
The Aztecs will now play at Fresno State on Friday, Oct. 14 at 7 p.m. PT on CBS Sports Network, at home against San José State on Friday, Oct. 21 at 7:30 p.m. PT on ESPN2 and at Utah State on Friday, Oct. 28 at 6 p.m. MT on CBS Sports Network.
Additional broadcasts by CBS Sports Network, ESPN networks (ABC, ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU or ESPN3), ROOT SPORTS and the Mountain West Network powered by Campus Insiders will be announced in the near future.
SDSU is coming off an 11-3 season where it tied a school record for the most wins in a single year, finished with a 10-game winning streak (second-longest active FBS streak heading into 2016), won the MW title (20th conference title in program history) and beat Cincinnati, 42-7, in the Hawai'i Bowl.
San Diego State is accepting new account deposits on 2016 season tickets through the Aztec Ticket Office. Additionally, current season-ticket holders can renew their tickets for the 2016 season. Fans can purchase tickets through GoAztecs.com, over the phone by calling (619) 283-7378, or by visiting Qualcomm Stadium's Window E between 9 a.m. PT and 5 p.m. PT.
