ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - The San Diego State baseball team will conclude its weekend series at New Mexico with a contest slated to commence at 1:00 p.m. (CT) this afternoon in Albuquerque.
The Lobos have taken the first two contest vs. SDSU by scores of 10-5 and 13-7. Along the way they have improved to 29-12 overall and continue to lead the Mountain West with a league mark of 16-4.
The Aztecs, meanwhile, have dropped five of their last six outings to see their season record fall to 11-25 (4-10 MW),
UNM will start left-hander Colton Thomson (5-1, 2.91) on the mound this afternoon where he will be opposed by SDSU junior right-hander Cody Thompson (1-6, 6.34).
Up next for the Aztecs is a short trip north on Tuesday, April 26, when they will face Long Beach State in a game slated to start at 6:00 p.m. at Blair Field. in Long Beach.
