ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - San Diego State will look to even its weekend series vs. New Mexico when the teams meet this afternoon at 2:00 p.m. (MT) at Santa Ana Star Field in Albuquerque.
The Lobos claimed a 10-5 victory over SDSU Friday night as they improved their record to 28-12 overall and 15-4 in the Mountain West.
UNM is expected to start right-hander Tyler Stevens (5-2, 4.37) on the mound in today's contest.
Friday's loss for San Diego State was the team's fourth in its last five outings as it saw its record drop to 11-24 (4-9 Mountain West).
Alan Trejo record three hits in four plate appearances Friday night as his effort accounted for half of his team's six hits in the game.
SDSU will start freshman right-hander Chris Collins (2-0, 3.18) this afternoon. Collins will be making his first start after 11 relief appearances.
