SAN DIEGO - This week the San Diego State women's tennis team will close out its regular season. The Aztecs will play host to crosstown rival, San Diego on Wednesday then travel to Las Vegas on Saturday to take on No. 60 UNLV. San Diego State will welcome the Toreros for Senior Day at Aztec Tennis Center on April 20 with first serve is set for 2 p.m. San Diego is coming off of a three-match skid and will be looking for a win in its final regular-season match of the year before heading to the West Coast Conference Championships on April 29. USD is 7-9-1 on the season, most recently dropping a 4-0 decision to No. 10 Pepperdine on April 16. Last year, the Aztecs blanked the Toreros, 4-0, Hogan Tennis Center.

Prior to Wednesday's match against USD, San Diego State will honor seniors Isabelle Hoorn, Dora Somoracz and Tami Nguyen.

Following the city showdown, SDSU will travel to Las Vegas on Saturday for its final outing of the regular season. The Rebels are having a stellar year, posting a 20-1 record with their only loss being a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of 39th-ranked Fresno State on April 8. The clash with the Aztecs will also be UNLV's final dual match of the regular season before the conference tournament. The Rebels currently sit at No. 60 in the nation with one doubles team in the standings in Aiwen Zhu and Carol Zi Yang at No. 73. In the singles rankings, Zi Yang holds the 109th spot.

The Aztecs will be looking to end a four-match skid this week after a most recent fall to No. 39 Fresno State in Fresno, Calif. SDSU's last victory came on March 22, a 5-2 decision over Cal Poly at Aztec Tennis Center.

After this week's two events, San Diego State will head to the Mountain West Championships in Fort Collins, Colo., beginning April 28.
