LUBBOCK, Texas - Today's baseball game between San Diego State and No. 10 Texas Tech has been moved up to noon (CT) due to impending rain. Saturday's contest will also begin at noon (CT) with Sunday's game now scheduled to begin at 11:30 a.m. (CT).
The Red Raiders come into today's contest with a record of 26-9 and are ranked anywhere from 10th to 22nd in the five national baseball polls.
Texas Tech, winners of their last six straight, will send freshman right-hander Davis Martin (4-0, 1.70) to the mound to start this afternoon's game against the Aztecs.
SDSU, meanwhile, had recorded wins in four of its last five outings and has improved its season ledger to 10-20.
The Aztecs will hand the ball to redshirt freshman Harrison Pyatt (0-2, 3.54) to open today's game on the mound.
SDSU used home runs by David Hensley, Justin Wylie and Jordan Verdon in its 7-3 victory at the University of San Diego on Tuesday.
Alan Trejo continues to lead San Diego State with a .336 batting average along with 19 RBI and 21 runs scored. Senior Spencer Thornton has also been hitting well of late, compiling a .408 average over the Aztecs' last 11 games.
