SAN DIEGO, Calif. – San Diego State and UNLV will resume their three-game weekend series this morning at 11:00 a.m. at Tony Gwynn Stadium. The original 2:00 p.m. start time for today's contest has been moved up due to pending inclement weather.

The Aztecs will be looking to reverse Friday night's outcome against UNLV that had the Rebels scoring twice in the top of the ninth to pull out a 7-6 win.

SDSU will start junior right-hander Cody Thompson (0-5, 7.67) on the mound for today's game where he will be opposed by Rebel right-hander Kenny Oakley (3-3, 3.89).

Sophomore shortstop Alan Trejo continues to lead the SDSU offense after finishing Friday night's contest with three hits, w also, RBI and run scored. He enters today's game with a .339 batting average along with a team-leading 18 RBI.

David Hensley is batting .297 and in the midst of an 11-game hitting streak. Both he and teammate Spencer Thornton have reached base safely (via hit, walk or hit by pitch) in each of SDSUs' last 11 games.

The Rebels and Aztecs are scheduled to complete their series on Sunday with a contest at 2:00 p.m., but that time is subject to change due to weather conditions over the next two days.
