SAN DIEGO - On Tuesday afternoon, the San Diego State women’s tennis team will play host to Cal Poly. First serve with the Mustangs is set for 2 p.m. at Aztecs Tennis Center.

The Mustangs will continue their travel south after losing to CSUN, 6-1, on Sunday. The loss marks four straight, culminating in an overall record of, 2-8. After Tuesday’s match the Mustangs will stay on the road to take on Loyola Marymount in Los Angeles.

SDSU looks to jump back into the win column after suffering a nail-biting loss to 44th-ranked Dartmouth, 4-3, on Saturday. The loss dropped the Aztecs to 5-10 overall. With all five of SDSU’s wins coming at home, the Aztecs will look to collect their sixth win under the sunshine.

The matchup between SDSU and Cal Poly is the first since 2004 when the Mustangs were defeated, 4-3, on The Mesa.

Following Tuesday’s match, San Diego State will head to the desert for a showdown with No. 25 Arizona State on Saturday, March 26.
