SAN DIEGO, Calif. - San Diego State and Northwestern will pick up Friday night's suspended game this morning at 11:00 a.m. and play their series finale at 1:00 p.m. this afternoon at Tony Gwynn Stadium.

On Friday, the Wildcats were leading the Aztecs, 6-4, in the bottom of the sixth inning when rains forced a halt to the game. After an hour-and-a-half rain delay, it was determined that the field was unplayable and the game would be suspended until this morning.

The contest will be picked up in the bottom of the sixth with SDSU at bat, a runner at third and no outs.

Another full nine-inning game will be played this afternoon commencing at approximately 1:00 p.m. (40 minutes after the completion of the halted contest).

Due to Northwestern's travel commitments, the final game of the four-game series between the Aztecs and Wildcats has been canceled.
