SAN DIEGO, Calif. - The baseball game between Fresno State and San Diego State has been moved back one hour due to inclement weather and will now start at 2:00 p.m. at Tony Gwynn Stadium.
The teams will look to conclude their three-game weekend series this afternoon after the Bulldogs captured the opening two contests on Friday and Saturday.
Fresno State will send sophomore left-hander Anthony Arias (2-0, 0.00) to the mound to start today's contest. The Aztecs have not yet to name a starting pitcher.
At 11-0 (2-0 Mountain West), the Bulldogs are off to their best start since 1951. SDSU, meanwhile, has seen its record drop to 1-10 (0-2 MW) after losing its last seven straight contests.
Following today's game, the Aztecs will take a break from conference play as they get set to host Northwestern for a four-game series that begins on Thursday, March 10, at 6:00 p.m. at Tony Gwynn Stadium.
