Big Notes

- RECORD: SDSU seniors Winston Shepard and Skylar Spencer break the Mountain West record for most career league victories. The Aztec duo has been a part of 54 SDSU Mountain West victories, surpassing former Brigham Young player Jimmer Fredette (53).

- RECORD: San Diego State breaks the MW record for most league road victories in a single season. SDSU improves to 8-1 in Mountain West road games, breaking the record of seven victories held by five teams, including two San Diego State teams (2013-14 and 2010-11).

- SDSU wins its 15th MW game of the season and is within a victory of matching the conference record, held by the 2013-14 Aztec team.

- San Diego State is 7-4 since Feb. 4, 2006, in The Pit, while the rest of the country has accumulated a 21-139 record (13.1 percent).

- SDSU wins its sixth consecutive regular-season game in the month of March (includes two victories over New Mexico and UNLV).

Road Success

- San Diego State improves to 9-2 in road games this season, including a 9-1 record against non-top 25 competition. The Aztecs entered the day tied for the fifth-highest winning percentage in road games this season.

- San Diego State is 37-13 in its last 50 games played during the month of March (74.0 percent), which includes conference tournament and NCAA tournament games.
