SAN DIEGO, Calif. - San Diego State will wrap up action at the 2016 Tony Gwynn Classic this afternoon with a contest vs. Arizona scheduled to get underway at 2:30 p.m.
The Wildcats will start junior left-hander JC Cloney (1-0, 5.87) on the mound where he will be opposed by Aztec lefty Brett Seeburger (0-0, 1.69).
Arizona comes into this afternoon's game with a record of 3-3 after splitting a pair of high-scoring games at the University of San Diego this weekend. On Friday the Wildcats fell to USD, 11-10, before rebounding to down Nebraska, 11-10, in 10 innings on Saturday.
SDSU has seen its record drop to 1-6 after suffering losses to Bryant and No. 22 Kentucky during this weekend's Tony Gwynn Classic.
Up next for the Aztec is a home contest against USD on Tuesday, March 1, at 6:00 p.m. at Tony Gwynn Stadium.
