SAN DIEGO - After clinching the 2015-16 outright Mountain West regular-season championship on Wednesday, San Diego State is looking to Blackout the Madhouse for Saturday's men's basketball game vs. Boise State. The game is scheduled for 3 p.m. PT on Steve Fisher Court at Viejas Arena.
San Diego State Athletics is encouraging all fans to wear black to the game. The Aztecs are looking to blackout Viejas Arena for the first time since clinching the outright MW regular-season crown vs. New Mexico in 2014. On Saturday, SDSU will wear black jerseys at home for the first time in the Steve Fisher era.
The Aztecs, who are receiving votes in both major top-25 polls, are coming off a 73-61 road victory at Wyoming. The win moved San Diego State to 21-7 overall and 14-1 in the Mountain West. SDSU has now won at least a share of the last three MW regular-season titles and five of the last six regular-season championships.
