COLLEGE STATION, Texas - With five swimming events and the platform diving set to be contested today, the San Diego State swimming and diving team remains in third place in the team scoring. The Aztecs enter the day with 366 points as they trail leader Boise State (430.5) and Nevada (419).
On Friday SDSU picked up a pair of silver medal with second-place finishes in two events. Summer Harrison was the runner-up in the 100 butterfly with a time of 52.84 while Rachael Kelch captured second in the 400 individual medley in 4:13.96.
Today's morning session gets underway at 9:00 a.m. (PT) with prelims in the 200 backstroke, 100 freestyle, 200 breaststroke and 200 butterfly.
Prelims in the platform diving competition will begin at 10:30 a.m. (PT) and three finals heats of the 1650 freestyle will be held starting at 1:50 p.m. (PT).
Finals in the four early swimming events and the platform diving are set to commence at 4:30 p.m. (PT).
