2016 SDSU FOOTBALL SCHEDULE | TICKETS
The San Diego State football team has released its 2016 opponents, highlighted by home games against New Hampshire, California, Colorado State, Hawai'i, San José State and UNLV.
The Aztecs are also scheduled to play road contests at Northern Illinois, South Alabama, Fresno State, Nevada, Utah State and Wyoming.
SDSU's non-conference dates already set include the Sept. 3 opener at home vs. New Hampshire and another home game vs. Cal on Sept. 10. San Diego State will also travel to Northern Illinois on Sept. 17 and to South Alabama on Oct. 1.
Game dates for the Aztecs' eight Mountain West contests, along with game times and television arrangements will be released at a later date.
San Diego State is coming off an 11-3 season, including a perfect 8-0 mark in MW play. The Aztecs defeated Air Force, 27-24, on Dec. 5 for their second MW title since 2012, first outright league championship since 1986 and 20th conference crown in program history, and then beat Cincinnati, 42-7, in the Hawai'i Bowl. SDSU's 11 wins tied a single-season school record and San Diego State enters 2016 with the second-longest active winning streak in FBS (10 games).
Spring practice for the Aztecs begin on Feb. 22 with the spring game set for either March 18 or March 19.
SDSU is accepting new account deposits on 2016 season tickets through the Aztec Ticket Office. Additionally, current season-ticket holders can renew their tickets for the 2016 season.
