SAN DIEGO - The San Diego State women's basketball team is looking for student managers and male practice players to assist head coach Stacie Terry and her staff during the upcoming 2015-16 season. Prospective candidates for both positions must be enrolled full-time at SDSU.
In addition, student managers must be self-motivated, hard-working, have a passion for the sport of basketball and be willing to contribute on a daily basis, including home games, to help the Aztecs win a conference championship and earn a spot in the NCAA tournament. This is a great internship that provides the opportunity to be part of an elite college basketball program.
On the other hand, male practice players must have previous basketball playing experience (high school varsity preferred) and be available a minimum of three days per week for practices, which typically range from 9 a.m. to 12 noon, plus weekends. In addition, all practice players must pass a physical examination and have NCAA eligibility.
This is a tremendous opportunity to continue playing basketball and train with one of the nation's best programs, as well as gain first-hand experience with Coach Terry and her staff.
For more information on either position, please contact director of player development Kevin Adams via e-mail at kadams@mail.sdsu.edu or call (619)-594-2083
