Team Notes

- San Diego State suffered a loss following a loss to snap a 23-game winning streak in the game immediately following a loss. The streak was the longest in the country and the longest since Kansas responded from 33 straight defeats with a win from Jan. 21, 2006 to Nov. 15, 2012.

- San Diego State has lost consecutive games for the first time since Feb. 13 and 16, 2013. The Aztecs had gone 94 consecutive games without suffering consecutive losses. That was tied for the longest streak in the nation (Arizona).

- Of San Diego State's six losses this season, the Aztecs have led or been with one possession in the final three minutes of four of them.

- San Diego State falls to 5-2 in its last seven home games against AP Top 25 teams.

- The Aztecs are 109-11 in their last 120 home games.

- SDSU started the group of Winston Shepard, Skylar Spencer, Zylan Cheatham, Trey Kell and Jeremy Hemsley for the first time this season.

- San Diego State's win streak in Tuesday games is snapped at nine.

- Held Kansas to 70 points, tied for its lowest scoring output of the season. The Jayhawks scored 70 vs. Vanderbilt on Nov. 25. KU came into the game averaging 89.8 points.

- Limited Kansas to 42.6-percent shooting, its second-lowest field-goal percentage of the season. Michigan State held the Jayhawks to 34.8 percent on Nov. 17. KU came into the game shooting 52.6 percent and shot over 50 percent from the field in three straight games.
