Aztecs Set to Host UNLV Tonight at 6:00 P.M.

SAN DIEGO, Calif. – The San Diego State volleyball team will wrap up its current home stand when it hosts Mountain West foe UNLV this evening at 6:00 p.m. (PT).

The Rebels enter the match with an overall mark of 13-11 and they are 6-6 in the conference where they sit in fifth place.

The Aztecs, meanwhile, are 8-18 overall and 5-8 in league play as they find themselves in a three-way tie for seventh.

Alexis Cage led the Aztecs with 11 kills in the win over Fresno State Thursday evening. She also contributed three blocks and six digs. Her .611 hitting percentage in that contest was a career high. Her average of 2.20 digs per set in conference play ranks second on the squad behind libero Devyn Pritchard.

Emma Fuzie tied her SDSU best with six blocks against Fresno State on Thursday. She is also hitting .314 over the last eight matches.

Redshirt freshman Deja Harris ranks seventh in the Mountain West in league matches with a .346 hitting percentage. She is the only freshman to rank among the league's top 10 in that category.

Sophomore libero Devyn Pritchard has averaged 3.42 digs per set over SDSU's last five matches. She has recorded at least one assist in each of the past 13 matches.

Following this evening's contest San Diego state will be on the road for its next three matches beginning with a visit to Boise, Idaho, on Thursday, Nov. 12, where they will face Boise State at 7:00 P.M. (MT) in Bronco Gym.
