SAN DIEGO -The San Diego State men's soccer team played Pac-12 Conference foe Washington to a 1-1 draw in front of 902 fans atop SDSU Sports Deck on Friday night.

The tie moves the Aztecs' record to 1-6-1 in Pac-12 play and 7-7-3 overall. Washington's mark against conference foes is now 3-2-3 and 7-4-6 in 2015.

San Diego State scored the match's first goal in the 42nd minute. Ozzie Ramos sent a perfectly placed corner kick to the box and, in the ensuing scrum, Dallin Cutler was able to knock in his first as an Aztec for the 1-0 lead.

The Huskies sported a more organized attack in the second half and increased their pressure in the dying minutes of the second half. A solid opportunity for Washington came at 87:46 when Garret Jackson attempted a bicycle kick maneuver, but his shot sailed left. Jackson was able to cash in with just two seconds remaining in regulation, however, when a corner kick by Michael Gallagher allowed him, while stationed in the box, to get the 1-1 equalizer.

Once extra time began, both teams displayed strong defensive play. Seven-and-a-half minutes into the first overtime period, Adam Allmaras was put to the test when he punched away the long ball of Josh Heard. However, neither team was able to break through its opposition's backline in the second overtime period.

In the match, San Diego State and Washington each posted 14 shots, with the Huskies taking seven corner kicks to the Aztecs' five. Allmaras stopped a pair of shots, as his record moved to 5-7-3, while Ryan Herman's mark now stands at 6-4-6 following his one-save performance.

San Diego State returns to SDSU Sports Deck on Sunday with a noon match against Oregon State.

MAN OF THE MATCH: Ernest Reyes is the Aztecs' Man of the Match against the Huskies. Playing full time for the second straight match, and logging a career-best 110 minutes, Reyes was a menace through the middle of the pitch, blocking shots and thwarting attempted crosses.
