SAN DIEGO, Calif. - The San Diego State volleyball team opens a two-match home stand with a contest against Fresno State this evening at 6:00 p.m. on Aztec Court.
The Bulldogs will be looking to avenge a five-set defeat at the hands of the Aztecs in Fresno in early October. In that match, SDSU took a 2-0 set lead before FSU came back to win the third and fourth games before falling in the fifth.
The Bulldogs come into this evening's contest with an overall mark of 13-12 and a record of 5-6 in Mountain West play.
SDSU, meanwhile will be trying to end a two-game skid as it looks to end the final portion of its 2015 campaign on a positive note. The Aztecs currently sport a record of 7-18 overall and 4-8 in league action.
Freshman Alexandra Psoma continues to lead San Diego State in kills with averages of 2.45 per set in all matches and 2.59 per set in Mountain West contests.
The Aztecs will be back in action on Saturday (Nov. 7) when they host UNLV in a match slated to get underway at 6:00 p.m. on Aztec Court.
