AZTECS AT HOME FOR CONTESTS VS. FRESNO STATE & UNLV
San Diego State will be at home this week for a pair of Mountain West matches. SDSU's week gets underway on Thursday, Nov. 5, when it hosts Fresno State for a 6:00 p.m. (PT) contest on Aztec Court. Two days later (Saturday, Nov. 7), the Aztecs will face UNLV at 6:00 p.m. (PT) on its home floor. Live stats will be available for both matches this weekend with links located at GoAztecs.com. In addition, live video streaming of the two contests will be available at the SDSU web site.

SERIES RECORDS
*** San Diego State's all-time record vs. Fresno State is 28-10 since the team's first faced each other during the 1980 season. The Aztecs won the match against the Bulldogs in Fresno in five sets earlier this season and have won six of the last seven contests vs. Fresno State. The Aztecs are 15-3 vs. FSU in San Diego, 7-7 in Fresno and 6-0 in matches on neutral courts.
*** The Aztecs record vs. UNLV stands at 24-18 in a series that began in 1985 when both schools were members of the PCAA. The schools were also in the Western Athletic Conference together before joining the Mountain West in 1999. UNLV has won four of the last five meetings including the contest in Las Vegas in early October. SDSU is 15-4 vs. the Rebels in San Diego, 9-12 in Las Vegas and 0-2 on neutral courts.

PSOMA LEADS HITTERS
Freshman Alexandra Psoma has averaged 2.47 kills per set in SDSU's four matches. She had a career best three blocks in the match at Colorado State last Thursday (Oct. 29). She had a career-high 13 digs along with 14 kills vs. New Mexico on Oct. 24 to record her second double-double of the season. Psoma currently leads the team with an overall average of 2.45 kills per set and a mark of 2.59 kills per set in conference matches.

BOLDEN ON THE OFFENSIVE
Defensive specialist Dani Bolden led the Aztecs with 10 kills in the contest at Colorado State on Oct. 29. She was the lone Aztec to reach double figures in kills in either of SDSU's two matches last week. She has been in double figures in kills in three of SDSU's past five outings. Bolden, who missed the Oct. 22 match vs. Air Force with a sprained ankle, returned for the New Mexico contest on Oct. 24 and recorded her second career double-double with 12 kills and 10 digs.

HARRIS SOLID AT THE NET
Redshirt freshman Deja Harris ranks seventh in the Mountain West in league matches with a .346 hitting percentage. She is the only freshman to rank among the league's top 10 in that category. She had a career-high 19 kills in the victory at Fresno State on Oct. 10, the most kills in a match by an Aztec this season. Her 21.0 points in that match were also her career high. She has recorded at least one block in 24 of the Aztecs' 25 matches this season.

PRITCHARD AT LIBERO
Sophomore libero Devyn Pritchard has averaged 3.50 digs per set over SDSU's last four matches. She has finished in double figures in digs in 11 of the last 13 contests since becoming the starting libero. She has recorded at least one assist in each of the past 12 matches. She set a career high with 31 digs in the win at Fresno State on Oct. 10. She also had a career-best six assists in that match. Her 4.20 digs per set average in league matches ranks eighth in the conference this week.

FUZIE CONSISTENT
Emma Fuzie, a junior transfer from Pepperdine, is hitting .310 over the last seven matches in which she has appeared. She tied her SDSU career high with six blocks in the win over New Mexico on Oct. 24. She had equaled her personal best with 11 kills in contest vs. Air Force two days earlier (Oct. 22).

DOUBLE-DOUBLES
Four Aztecs have recorded at least one double-double during the 2015 campaign. Two Aztecs recorded double-doubles during the season-opening San Francisco Invitational (Aug. 28-29). Setter Hailey Jones did so twice with 47 assists-15 digs vs. Denver and 57 assists-11 digs vs. CSU Bakersfield. She also added double-doubles at Air Force on Sept. 26 (25 assists, 10 digs) and at UNLV on Oct. 8 (26 assists, 10 digs). Alexandra Psoma had 18 kills and 12 digs in the match vs. Denver. Danielle Bolden has double-doubles in two of her last three matches: vs. Boise State on Oct. 17 (19 kills, 11 digs) and vs. New Mexico on Oct. 24 (12 kills, 10 digs). In addition, setter Lauren Utchen has registered pair of double-doubles: at Fresno State on Oct. 10 (20 assists, 14 digs) and vs. Boise State (27 assists, 11 digs).

UP NEXT
San Diego State will be on the road for its next three matches before returning home for its season finale on Nov. 24. That road trip opens with a match against Boise State on Thursday, Nov. 12, at 7:00 p.m. (MT) in Bronco Gym. Two days later (Saturday, Nov. 14) the Aztecs visit Logan, Utah, for a contest against Utah State scheduled to get underway at 7:00 p.m. (MT).
