SAN DIEGO - The San Diego State men’s basketball game vs. USD at Petco Park has been moved to Sunday, Dec. 6, at 2 p.m. PT. The first college hoops game in the facility’s history was to be played on Saturday, Dec. 5, but has been pushed back one day to avoid conflict with the Mountain West Football Championship Game, which the Aztecs will host on Dec. 5.
Tickets already purchased for the basketball game will be valid on the new date. Refunds will not be issued as a result of the date change. This will mark the 18th consecutive season the teams have played each other and only the second time they have played on a neutral site (Dec. 1, 1992 at the then-San Diego Sports Arena). Tickets to see the Aztecs vs. the Toreros are still available and can be purchased by visiting www.padres.com/bball.
Tickets for SDSU students are available at the Viejas Arena box office during normal with a current RedID are $10 plus a $5 service fee ($15 total). There is a limit of one ticket per San Diego State student with a valid RedID. Tickets will be located in the designated SDSU student sections some of which are in the Field MVP level of Petco Park (lower 100 level).
