SAN DIEGO, Calif. - San Diego State dropped a three-set decision to No. 20 Colorado State (25-18, 25-15, 25-21) in a Mountain West conference matchup on Aztec Court in Peterson Gym Saturday afternoon. Psoma and Alexis Cage had three kills apiece to pace the SDSU attack.

In set number two, the Rams scored the opening three points and never looked back en route to the one-sided set win. The visitors put together runs of three points or more on four occasion over the middle portion of the set while the Aztecs were able to score back-to-back points only twice. Bolden led SDSU with four kills with each coming from the back row.

San Diego State started strong in the third set and built a 15-9 lead midway through the contest. Colorado State, however, slowly fought its way back into the set, eventually tying it up at 17-17. After the teams traded two points apiece to make it 19-all, the Rams scored two in a row to go up 21-19 and then won four of the ensuing six points to win the set and claim the match victory.

San Diego State will return to the road next week for a pair of Mountain West matches beginning with a contest at UNLV scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 8, at 6:00 p.m. (PT) in Las Vegas.
