Fresno State-San Diego State Postgame Notes
Big Notes
- SDSU held an opponent to 100 yards or less of total offense for the first time since it limited North Texas State to 59 yards for the contest on Sept. 19, 1970.
- The Aztecs limited Fresno State to just 89 yards of total offense, its fewest in a game since at least 1996.
- SDSU limited the Bulldogs to 77 yards passing, their fourth fewest since 1996.
- San Diego State limited Fresno State to 12 yards rushing, the Bulldogs' fifth fewest since 1996.
- The Aztecs outgained Fresno State by 320 yards, the 19th-largest margin in SDSU's Division I history (since 1969).
- SDSU outgained the Bulldogs by 293 yards on the ground, the program's third-largest margin in its DI history (since 1969).
- San Diego State did not allow a third-down conversion. Fresno State was 0-for-12 on third downs, marking the first time the Bulldogs have gone 0-for-the game third down since at least 1996. It was also just the second time since 1996 that SDSU held an opponent to zero third down conversions (vs. San Jose State on Sept. 24, 2005 (0-for-17)).
- SDSU won its 14th straight game when rushing for at least 200 yards and is now 22-2 in the Rocky Long era when reaching 200-plus yards.
- San Diego State had multiple 100-yard rushers (Donnel Pumphrey and Chase Price) for the 19th time in program history and is now 18-1 when it has two, 100-yard rushers.

- SDSU has won 13 consecutive games against opponents that entered the contest on a losing streak of at least three games. Since becoming head coach, Rocky Long is 10-0 in those games.

- San Diego State scored in the first quarter for the 12th time in 13 games.
- The Aztecs didn't attempt a pass until their 18th play of the game, which was a 6-yard completion.
- SDSU held its opponent without a point in the first quarter for the third time in five games this season and for the sixth time over its last nine games.

- Rushed 23 times for 124 yards (5.4 avg.), including a 33-yard touchdown, before exiting midway through the third quarter.
- Broke 100 yards rushing for the second time this season and 15th time of his career.
- The 15 career 100-yard rushing games are tied with Ronnie Hillman (2010-11) for second all-time at SDSU and tied for fourth all-time in Mountain West era.
- The touchdown was his fourth rushing score of the year and 32nd of his career.
- It was also his 34th overall touchdown, which ties Paul Hewitt (1987-88) and George Jones (1995-96) for the fourth most in program history.
